Peace Lutheran School was established in 1979 as a preschool, born out of a vision to serve families in the greater Bremerton community. Rooted in the mission of the Peace Lutheran Church(which was founded in 1965), the school began as an outreach ministry to provide young children with a nurturing, faith-based education.

As the needs of the community grew, so did Peace Lutheran School. Our program expanded to include kindergarten and grades 1 through 8, broadening its reach to serve students across the full span of elementary and middle school years. To support this growth, a permanent building was constructed in 1983, followed by classroom additions in 1985.

grow and adapt
In the decades since, Peace Lutheran School has continued to grow and adapt, adding childcare services and investing in upgraded facilities, technology, and educational resources to meet the demands of modern learning. As a proud member of the Northwest District of the Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod (LCMS), the school remains anchored in its founding mission to be a place where faith, community, and education come together to shape the whole child, both inside and outside the classroom.
